The purpose of the process is to meet the production demand, and the purpose of production is to meet the market demand. Different uses of aluminum casting products, the process is also different, limited to personal work experience, here only to discuss the deformation of aluminum alloy products, including ordinary remelted aluminum ingot, aluminum alloy flat ingot, aluminum alloy round ingot, aluminum rod, cast plate 4 kinds of products.
1, ordinary remelting aluminum ingot production process.
The production of ordinary remelted aluminum ingots usually needs to be achieved through the following processes:
Electrolytic aluminum liquid-(furnace distribution)-(refining)-slag stripping-(discharge)-sampling inspection-slag beating-molding-palletizing-bundling-metering-warehousing
Due to the difference in the grade of aluminum liquid produced by each electrolytic cell, in order to obtain a common standard product, different grades of aluminum liquid need to be mixed together in a planned way, which is the furnace.
When the aluminum liquid grade consistency of different electrolytic cells is very good, some manufacturers will not go through the furnace, the use of pouring ladle direct casting, the package of aluminum liquid directly into the mold molding. At present, the amount of vacuum lifting and containing aluminum commonly used to extract aluminum liquid from electrolytic cells is generally more than 5 tons, which also provides convenience for pouring aluminum water directly from the casting ladle for ingot casting. However, special attention should be paid to the safety of the casting process. Poor control is easy to cause aluminum liquid leakage and splash, and the slag content in the ingot will be slightly higher.
When the electrolyte in the aluminum liquid is more, it is not suitable for casting with a ladle.
Refining is a process in which after the aluminum liquid is poured into the mixing furnace, the aluminum liquid is treated with inert gas and refining agent to remove non-metallic impurities in the aluminum liquid. Refining in the production process of remelted aluminum ingots is generally relatively simple. In fact, many manufacturers skip the refining process directly, which can reduce burning loss, improve efficiency and eliminate the use of refining agents. However, it is obvious that this method will affect the quality of aluminum ingots.
For liquid aluminum with special quality requirements (such as alkali removal), it can also be refined in the ladle.
Slag is the process of removing slag from the surface of aluminum liquid.
Release is the operation of releasing the aluminum liquid from the mixing furnace in an organized manner; no release is required for direct casting of the ladle.
Slagging is the process of removing the dross on the surface of the aluminum liquid in the mold, mainly to improve the surface quality of the ingot.
Sampling inspection is in the flow channel according to a certain order and method of sampling and chemical composition detection, as the chemical composition of the finished product.
Molding, the ingot is solidified by indirect cooling (cooling water to cool the outer surface of the mold, and the aluminum liquid is molded in the mold).
Palletizing and bundling are the most automated processes in the entire production process. Many manufacturers have adopted manipulators, which greatly improves safety and production efficiency.
The remelted aluminum ingots can be stored as standard products after being measured and determined by the grade of the bundle, waiting for sale.
