Degassing is a relatively effective method for removing hydrogen gas from liquid aluminum. In the industry, online degasser is usually used. Through the rotary jet degassing method, a quantitative degassing gas (argon or nitrogen) is injected into a closed box body, and then it is broken into micro bubbles to replace the hydrogen and suspended substances in the aluminum liquid to achieve the degassing effect.

Degassing gas is usually argon or nitrogen, considering nitrogen refining has the formation of nitride impurities, the preferred argon.
