In industry, non-metallic inclusions in aluminum liquid are generally removed by plate filtration, the filters box install the foam ceramic filter plates which is conforming to JC/T 895-2001 "Foam Ceramic Filter" standard. The filter layer is porous medium. In production, the filter plates block most of the slag in aluminum liquid in front of the filter plates, so that the slag cannot pass through the filter plates with aluminum liquid, to achieve the purpose of cleaning aluminum liquid. With the increase of the particle size and the thickness of the filter layer, the filtration efficiency also increases; with the decrease of the filter pore size and the decrease of the melting rate, the filtration efficiency also decreases.

Equipment Features

This filter box uses single-stage plate filtration, and installs 23-inch foam ceramic filter plate which is conforming to JC/T 895-2001 "foam ceramic filter" standard.

● The filter box body and upper cover are made of high-quality hot-rolled steel plate, and the surface is sprayed with high-temperature resistant coating.

● The inner lining of the filter box is integrally cast with high-strength aluminized castable. The periphery of the inner lining is added anti-aluminum liquid leakage insulation materials to prevent aluminum liquid from penetrating into the insulation layer when cracks occur in the inner lining. The insulation layer of the box body uses high-quality insulation board and nano insulation board.

● There is a residual aluminum discharge port at the bottom (the position of the discharge port is based on the plan layout) to facilitate the discharge of residual aluminum.

● The upper cover uses electric opening, which is convenient for slag removal and filter plate replacement.

●The filter box uses electric (silicon carbon rod) heating system, the heater is installed in the upper cover, and the heat transfer is carried out by heat radiation.

●The support feet of the filter box can be raised and lowered, which is convenient for installation and height adjustment.

● The equipment is designed with thermocouple and protective sleeve for measuring aluminum liquid. This temperature is not involved in heating control.

●The heating system uses PID+ control mode, designed with short circuit protection, over-current protection, leakage protection and so on.
